Amino-cho in Kyotango City, in the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture, is a treasure-trove of nature facing the Sea of Japan.
The town puts much effort in tourism, and natural hot springs, including Hamazume Yujigaura, Kitsu, Hacchohama Kobama, Tango Hanareko, Tango Kotohiki, Nakisuna and Asamogawa Urashima, can be enjoyed at various accommodations in each of the town’s districts.
Each year during the summer swimming season, Kotohiki, Haccho and Yuhigaura beaches bustle with many visitors. In the winter, a lot of people from across Japan visit for the “Matsuba crab (snow crab)” from the Sea of Japan. We look forward to welcoming you to Amino-cho, filled with an abundance of food and nature.
